Continuing our look at Star Wars on TV, in February of 1983 Americas cable network, The Movie Channel began airing Star Wars in Stereo. These magazine scans from the channel's monthly preview guide come from Neato Coolville and as with the Death Star Plans, this young Bothan Spy (Todd Franklin) paid a heavy price for them. Version 2.1 consists mostly of subtle changes to the color timing, but also includes new source material for some shots, improved transitions between the Blu-ray and other sources, and some additional dirt and dust cleanup in the non blu-ray sourced material. Here is a comparison video 2.0 to 2.1 so you can see how great it all looks. The video is 720p so use the full screen button.
